Work caboose
On many small logging railroads, you can found combined caboose / tool cars, known as work caboose. These cars have been used both on log trains as caboose and on work trains.
The frame is 18' long and rests on small trucks. The hand brake doesn't work.
The model
The car is equipped with a lift off roof for storage of fishplates, screws, tools and other MOW-equipment.
The car was build by using my old logging caboose and my tool car, mixed up on a new frame.
